We use cookies and similar technologies. You control non-essential cookies through our consent banner, grouped into Necessary, Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
Clients, partners, and suppliers
If you are (or represent) a client, partner, or supplier, we process business contact details (name, email, phone, company) and information related to contracts, projects, invoicing, and our correspondence with you.
Where we process personal data on behalf of our clients — for example, while building or maintaining their websites — we act as a processor, and that processing is governed by a separate data processing agreement, not this Privacy Policy.
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
We process your personal data for these purposes, on these legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
- Responding to enquiries and providing our services — performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to you.
- Sending our newsletter and marketing emails — your consent. You can withdraw it anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
- Managing bookings — steps taken at your request before or under a contract, or your consent.
- Operating, securing, and improving the website (including anti-spam) — our legitimate interest in a safe, working site.
- Analytics — your consent, given through the cookie banner.
- Managing client, supplier, and partner relationships — performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running our business.
- Meeting legal and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., tax and accounting law).
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) who help us run our business and process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- Loops — email and newsletter delivery
- Cal.com — call scheduling
- PostHog — website analytics (only with your consent)
- Cloudflare (including Turnstile) — CDN, security, and anti-spam
- Mux — video hosting and playback
- Sanity — content management
- Vercel — website hosting
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. International data transfers
Some of our providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as an adequacy decision (including, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Enquiries and leads: as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship; we remove inactive contacts when no longer needed.
- Contracts, invoices, and accounting records: for the periods required by law (generally up to 10 years under Slovak accounting and tax rules).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; erase your data (“right to be forgotten”); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing).
To exercise any of these, email us at roeluweb@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Námestie 1. mája 18, 811 06 Bratislava — dataprotection.gov.sk, statny.dozor@pdp.gov.sk.
8. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and hold our providers to similar standards.
